Jeanelle Frontin is an award-winning author. Her latest release – "And She Called It Worship" – is her maiden non-fiction offering of an intimate, face-it-all memoir. Her venture into books began in the fantastical world of The YaraStar Trilogy in 2018. The first book, The Unmarked Girl, is listed under Kirkus Reviews' Best 100 Indie Books of 2019, and also sits on a sub-list of the five(5) Best Indie Middle-Grade & YA Books of 2019. In addition, it won the 2019 CODE Burt Award for Caribbean Young Adult Literature. Her fantasy trilogy explores the journey of Yara, an unmarked girl with unknown origins, on a planet where one's birthline markings determine those who are of light from those who are of darkness. Yara's search for meaning, purpose and a place to belong is a search that Jeanelle believes is a part of us all in a world filled with grey areas. Jeanelle is also the Founder and CEO of Mark Made Group Ltd., a Caribbean-based company specializing in entertainment and the arts with this sole purpose: to enable adept humans, and choice projects, to make their mark on the world. Having a wealth of knowledge and experience within the creative sector both in a public and private capacity, Jeanelle noticed that several of the applied business models were either inadequate or outdated in a rapidly evolving world. Believing in empowering independent, entrepreneurial creatives to a new level in the present wave of change, Jeanelle seeks to apply all she has learnt across the various sectors in which she has worked in innovative ways. Her extensive experience, combined with her excellent education (BSc. Eng., MSc. Proj. Mang.), allows Jeanelle to seek and find powerful intersections between seemingly unrelated fields for strategies, solutions and system building. This dynamic and unique range of expertise, as well as her distinct passions, birthed the tagline: "The one thing I'm not is one thing." Jeanelle currently lives in the Caribbean country of Trinidad & Tobago, where she was born in love and raised with strength. She believes that every human being on the planet should experience her home islands. Honoured to be the mother of Alyxander, the son of her greatest dreams, she dedicates her work to him.
